FAIRPLEX RECAP OF MONDAY & HOW MY SYSTEM WORKS

WE HAD A GREAT LAST DAY with our handicapping picks and horse racing selections. Out of the 10 races given 8 were won by our top or second selections. If you boxed our selections you won 6 trifectas, 4 superfectas, 6 exactas or 6 Quinellas. Too many to list prices on since it was the last day of the meet. We had an excellent meet at Fairplex Park and made some money while having fun. I hope it continues at the Santa Anita Oak Tree meet. Santa Anita is my favorite track with the downhill turf racing.

REMEMBER- I cannot rate 1st time starters with my system. They must be considered. I will rate them in the order I believe they will finish. If I have a 1st timer that I think might win or pay good in our trifecta I will put Watch, or Watch Out next to his selection. An example being the winner Monday, 9/12/2005 in race 7's selections. My system does not use computer generated selections. All selections are made with an ordinary home calculator and ink pen. I use the assigned weight of the jockey(better horses are assigned more weight), the horses best two speed ratings of his last 3 races (how fast he ran for the conditions). I use the last three places the horse finished in his races( was he placed at the right level by the trainer). I adjust ratings for turf to dirt and dirt to turf (most horses run faster on the turf). I also make an adjustment for the distance of the race. I have a mathmatical formula I created over a 5 year period over 25 years ago. The final number that I list after each selection has taken in all these factors. A horse should have had 3 races for the figure to be completely accurate. I do list a figure if a horse has run only 1 race but he may not repeat the effort the same way. A difference of 5 points on the top selection from the 2nd selection should be a good bet. Any horses within 5 points have a good chance of beating him to the finish. We all know that the best horse does not always win. Stumbles, clipped heels, no racing room and boxed in on the rail and most of all Jockeys dumb decisions account for most horses problems.I hope this helps our new followers understand the system better and how the selections are made. Watch the point differences between the selections and then make you decision on how to bet the race. I wish you the most important factor of all GOOD LUCK.

NO HANDICAPPING PICKS FOR FAIRPLEX

There are no horse racing picks for Fairplex Park today as there is no horse racing on Tuesdays.

Fairplex Park is a 5/8 mile oval track with what might be considered tight turns. The Jockey Martin Pedroza tends to do very well at the meet. It appears that post positions do not play a major role in the outcome of the races. Many bettors think the inside posts would be advantageous with the tight turns but the results do not show this to be a factor. Many racing fans, jockeys and trainers take a break from betting and racing during the Fairplex Park meet in Southern California. I will attempt to use my system as I have in the past at this track with good results. I plan on posting my selections on a daily basis during the meet. This track requires a little more luck to be part of the handicapping process and results.

I will return tomorrow with my Fairplex Picks for the races.

TUESDAY - NO RACING AT FAIRPLEX PARK

Monday- a quick recap on our selections. If you took our selections and boxed them in $1 trifectas you hit 4 of them (3- 7.30, 5-181.80, 8-77.30, 9-24.60). Top selections won 3 races and were second in 3 races. Our 4th selection in race 5 paid 41.00 for the win. Our 3rd selection in race 6 paid 25.40 for the win. Again we had many Q's, Exactas, and daily double. Out of the nine races given we had the winner of 8 races listed in our selections.

Stumbles, clipped heels, no racing room and boxed in on the rail and most of all Jockeys dumb decisions account for most horses problems.

I hope this helps our new followers understand the system better and how the selections are made. Watch the point differences between the selections and then make you decision on how to bet the race. I wish you the most important factor of all GOOD LUCK.

FAIRPLEX - SOME OF MY WHIMS

Del Mar has put another year of racing in the books. You might say with some objections that inquiries and bad decisions were the most memorable events of the year. On to FairplexPark.

Don't miss 16 days of live thoroughbred racing at Fairplex Park during the 2005 L.A. County Fair, September 9-26. There will be no racing on Tuesdays.

I feel we can still make a nice profit with my system.

My 1st selections for Fairplex Park will be posted tomorrow morning (Friday).

INFORMATION ON MY SELECTIONS - NO RACING TODAY AT DEL MAR
Stumbles, clipped heels, no racing room and boxed in on the rail and most of all Jockeys dumb decisions account for most horses problems.

REMEMBER- 1st time starters can not be rated with my system. They must be considered. I will rate the 1st timers in the order that I think they will finish. This takes in Jockey trainer combinations, morning line, workouts, etc. The top rated 1st timer wins at a very high rate. Take a very good look to see if you should include him in your selections. Note the figure between the regular selections and how high their rating is.

GOOD LUCK AND WE WILL BE BACK TOMORROW ON CLOSING DAY AT DEL MAR WITH OUR SELECTIONS.

SATURDAY - DEL MAR PICKS

A link to the Salvation Army site is given where it shows all the different ways to donate. http://www.salvationarmyusa.org/USNSAHome.htm No donation is too small in this effort.
