Fri. recap-Race 1- top 2 picks were in "dead heat" for 2nd, both paid (2.20) 4th pick 4th. Race 2-1 pick scratched, Top pick won (3.20) 2nd pick 3rd (4.20). Race 3- top pick 2nd (3.00) 3rd pick 4th. Race 4- 1 pick scratched, 3rd pick "entry"won (6.40) top pick 2nd (2.60) boxed- Ex (7.10). Race 5- 3rd pick won (8.00) 2nd pick 2nd (3.20) 4th pick 4th, top 3 picks boxed- Ex (12.70). ALWAYS REMEMBER- The 5 point difference between horses rule - Any horse that is rated within 5 points of each other has a good chance of beating each other on any given day. You should also consider a horse who is dropping or moving up in class. If drop is large enough he may be very competitive with the horses at this level. The same is true with a horse moving up the class level. If the jump in class is too much he may have a difficult time being competitive with these horses.
