SANTA ANITA - HANDICAPPING PICKS AND SELECTIONS FOR SAT.
Fri. recap- Another good day for us at Santa Anita. In the 1st 4 races all of our top picks won. This gave us 3 daily doubles, 2 pick-3's and 3 trifectas. Race 1-Top pick won (3.80) 3rd pick 2nd (5.00) 2nd pick 3rd (2.20) Top pick keyed or top 3 boxed- Trifecta (21.80) Ex (9.20). Race 2- Top pick won (4.00) Daily Double (5.40) 2nd pick 2nd (4.00) 3rd pick 3rd (2.40) Trifecta in order- (19.50). Race 3- Top pick won (8.40) Pick-3 ( 19.20) Daily Double (18.40) 2nd pick 4th. Race 4- Top pick won (4.80) Pick-3 (29.50) Daily Double (30.20) 3rd pick 2nd (4.80) 4th pick 3rd (4.40) top pick keyed or boxed- Trifecta (51.00) Ex- (11.10). Race 5-top pick 3rd (3.00). Race 7- (off turf- 2 picks scratched) 2nd pick won (6.20) 1st pick 4th. Race 8- 2nd pick won (7.20).
REMEMBER- 1st time starters cannot be rated with my system. They must be considered. I will list the 1st timers in the order I believe they will finish.
ALWAYS REMEMBER- The 5 point difference between horses rule - Any horse that is rated within 5 points of each other has a good chance of beating each other on any given day. You should also consider a horse who is dropping or moving up in class. If drop is large enough he may be very competitive with the horses at this level. The same is true with a horse moving up the class level. If the jump in class is too much he may have a difficult time being competetive with these horses.
